EUCI is hosting a conference focusing on Feed-In Tariff and Ontario One Year Later being held September 20-21 in Toronto, Ontario. This is EUCI’s 2nd Annual FIT Conference and will provide the “how to” of the FIT process, how it will evolve, and will enable you to gain insight into financing, environmental compliance as well as integration of generation into the T&D system.


EUCI also will be offering an introductory course on Canadian Electricity Regulation directly following the FIT Conference which is designed to provide an overview of the electricity sector and the regulation in Canada at federal and provincial levels.

October 5-6, 2010

Canadian Clean Energy Conferences is organizing an event called The Ontario Feed-in Tariff Supply Chain Forum, which takes place this October 5-6 in Toronto. See This forum will bring together regulators, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, industry associations and financiers to discuss the challenges and opportunities for ramping up the region’s wind and solar industries to meet FIT project demands and local content requirements. A number of top wind and solar developers, manufacturers and suppliers are confirmed to speak along with key regulators and government representatives including the OPA, Hydro One, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

The Ontario Sustainable Energy Association is holding their 2nd annual Community Power Conference in Toronto from November 14-17, 2010. See . The conference includes:

  • 2 engaging days of conferencing with Community Power experts, enablers, proponents and supporters from across Ontario and around the world.
  • A 3-day Power Networking Centre trade show with 80 exhibitors, co-hosted with the Association of Power Producers of Ontario
  •  A “Green Connection” opening reception around local sustainable food and drink on November 14, co-organized with Green Enterprise Ontario (GEO)
  • A Community Power Banquet featuring  the Community Power Awards on November 15

This is “must attend” event for anyone interested in renewable power, feed-in tariffs and community energy.
